Good questions

Frequently asked

The things people ask us, Google, and now their favorite chatbot. Written in plain text so all three get it right.

What are your hours?

6 PM to 2 AM, every day of the week. Social Hour runs 6–8 PM daily.

Do you take reservations?

No reservations — walk-ins always, and the bar usually has room for one more. For bigger groups, use our private events page and we'll set you up properly.

Is there a happy hour?

We call it Social Hour: every day, 6–8 PM. A $5 beer option, $8 cocktails, and the $5 roll-the-dice shot — the dice decide what you drink.

Do you serve food?

No kitchen of our own — we host rotating pop-ups that take over the counter (watch the events page and Instagram). They tend to sell out.

Is the bar 21+?

Yes, 21+ at all times with valid ID.

What's the back room?

An extension of the main room, open Friday and Saturday from 10 PM: DJ sets, neon pink hues, and a comically large disco ball. A louder, dancier contrast to the lounge up front. No cover.

What kind of music do you play?

90s hip hop, classic funk, deep cuts — high energy but vintage. DJs in the back room every Friday and Saturday night.

Where do I park? Is there transit nearby?

Street parking in the neighborhood and nearby lots along 6th St. The Wilshire/Normandie Metro station (D Line) is a short walk.

Can I book the bar for a private event?

Yes — the booths, the back room (DJ booth included), or a full buyout of both rooms for up to 115. Send an inquiry from our private events page.

What's the loyalty program?

Friends of the Bar: free to join, earn points on every tab at any Pouring with Heart bar, redeem them for money off. Opt into texts and we'll send you $10 off your next visit.

I have allergies — anything I should know?

Please tell your bartender. A few drinks contain nuts or dairy (they're marked on the menu), and we're happy to steer you right.

Is the bar wheelchair accessible?

Yes — ground floor of the Hotel Normandie with a step-free entrance. Tell a bartender if we can make anything easier.

Didn't cover it? info@thenormandieclub.com or ask a bartender — they know everything and most of it is even true.
